Best Fishes Birthday Card

First share for the Stamp Nation Birthday Card Stash – Done

(A collaboration to celebrate StampNation’s 7th birthday)

The first tutorial was by Kimberly Rendino (CAS-ual Fridays) for a Sassy easel Card   so I used the My Favorite Things Fishbowl Die to make the easel.  I used Distress Oxide to color the items in the fishbowl.  The background is Alcohol Ink on Yupo paper.  The water effect is cardstock by Imagine Crafts called Vertigo Taffeta.  Stamp sets used were:  Penny Black Cupcake, Lawn Fawn Fintastic Friends, Simon Says Stamp All My Love, and Penny Black Sweet Wishes.  I used Stamp of Approval Birthday Wishes die also.

Welcome to my blog. I started my blog so that I could share all of the things that I am passionate about not only in the creative world but in all areas of my life. I retired over 10 years ago from the field of education. I was a Resource Specialist in a Teacher's Resource Library. My job allowed me to do the things I love every day. I love creating things with many different media. Papercrafting is my favorite. I helped teachers create bulletin boards and instructional materials for their classrooms. Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time creating cards and I love all of the different techniques and media available. I also am very active in wildlife conservation and spend many hours volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Network.
