Bring On The Cake

Following exactly the instructions by Iliana at My Sweet Petunia on You Tube titled Stamp Of Approval: Bring On the Cake. I did exactly as she did because it was not easy. I had to attempt it several times to get the stencil to do what she did. I didn’t have all of the ink colors. Finally I got it right. I think it turned out great. I wanted to get her technique for a shaker window down which is why I did it exactly. Now I will try to do it with some different stamps and stencils. I love the card. I love the colors.

Welcome to my blog. I started my blog so that I could share all of the things that I am passionate about not only in the creative world but in all areas of my life. I retired over 10 years ago from the field of education. I was a Resource Specialist in a Teacher's Resource Library. My job allowed me to do the things I love every day. I love creating things with many different media. Papercrafting is my favorite. I helped teachers create bulletin boards and instructional materials for their classrooms. Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time creating cards and I love all of the different techniques and media available. I also am very active in wildlife conservation and spend many hours volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Network.

    1. Thank you. I really was attracted to the colors first and that is why I started it. I think now I would like to vary the colors and see how it turns out. Now that I have the hang of it and don’t have to toss so many of the attempts.
