Birthday card for Grandson Charlie. Inspired by Nichol Magourik for Lawn Fawn. Finally making use of all the eyes I have been collecting.
Found this request for handmade cards on one of the Facebook pages I follow. This is why I love making cards. I enjoy it so much and then to see how happy it makes the recipients makes it a double pleasure. Jacob loves the Antarctica and Penguins but instead of Penguins I decided to use this Lawn Fawn stamp set that I love. I also love making spinner cards. They are a lot of fun. Had to do a video also so it will perform the spin.
My Grandkids got their Halloween cards (and on time) I love seeing their smiling faces even if Charlie and Emilia are looking like they got the “Say Cheese” command from the photographer. They are adorable. Love the Lawn Fawn Candy Corn stamp that I used.
First Halloween Card for one of my Grandkids. I really do love candy corn. Used alcohol markers to color the cat and Paper Mate Flair to color the candy corn.
Entered in My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #355
A card made with some of the Stamp of Approval stamps and die sets. I used Catherine Pooler Inks which I am very happy with. I love the way they stamp. This card was challenging. I did a lot of measuring and using circles divided up etc. I never was great at Geometry.
Another using Stamp of Approval sets mixed with a few others. I love the combination of colors from Catherine Pooler Inks.
A Thanksgiving card for the Live Love Cards October challenge: Using Metallics. The leaves were die cut from paper I made using Fall colors of Ranger alcohol inks on Yupo.
My second challenge for World Cardmaking Day on Stampnation. The Challenge was using some form of material that looks like snow. I used Bo Bunny Glitter Paste and a stencil for the background snow and then added clumps of it on the trees. While doing these challenges I am also getting a start on my Christmas Cards. Something I never do this early.
Decided to try and do some challenges for World Cardmaking Day. This was for the first one on StampNation. The challenge was any kind of scene. This was a little tricky since I have a problem with gluing things but I like the results.
I decided it was time to make sure I use all of the stuff I buy. So since I had a little time and I am avoiding starting Christmas Cards, I started with this card. I used my new Dotty Turnabout Stamp set from Concord and 9th. I love the background that this makes using the Misti. I cut the animals from Penny Black On Safari Die and the sentiment is from Catherine Pooler Bloomin Bouquet. Inks are Altenew Warm Gray set. The inside sentiment from the same Catherine Pooler stamp set reads Be the Best version of you. I love how this card turned out by starting with no idea and working from the background.
