This is the time for graduation cards it seems.  Have made two so far.  I love this one.  I spent a lot of time on it, thinking at first it would be simple since I have used the Stampin Up owl so many times and he always looks so cute.  I stamped and embossed a number of strips for the second layer.  That took a lot of time.  Then deciding how to put them together was like a puzzle.  I am very happy with it even if it did take a day and a half.  I love the Dr Seuss graduation poem and used the first two paragraphs for the sentiment. Welcome to my blog. I started my blog so that I could share all of the things that I am passionate about not only in the creative world but in all areas of my life. I retired over 10 years ago from the field of education. I was a Resource Specialist in a Teacher's Resource Library. My job allowed me to do the things I love every day. I love creating things with many different media. Papercrafting is my favorite. I helped teachers create bulletin boards and instructional materials for their classrooms. Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time creating cards and I love all of the different techniques and media available. I also am very active in wildlife conservation and spend many hours volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Network.
