Live, Love Cards July Challenge

I am not a lover of Washi Tape but I seem to have a lot of it.  When Darlene made the July Challenge Washi tape I decided I’d better try to use some of what I had.  I die cut and colored some of the flowers from Sugar Peas Enchanted Garden from the Stamp of Approval Young at Heart Collection.  I used Yasutomo watercolors that are shiny and look great on black paper.  The butterfly is My Favorite Things Fancy Butterflies Die.  I used black paper and the Yasutomo watercolors on that also.  I found two different rolls of Washi Tape that picked up some of the colors.   I wish now I hadn’t put so many things on the card because actually the tape was kind of pretty.  I’ll try again with less stuff.

Welcome to my blog. I started my blog so that I could share all of the things that I am passionate about not only in the creative world but in all areas of my life. I retired over 10 years ago from the field of education. I was a Resource Specialist in a Teacher's Resource Library. My job allowed me to do the things I love every day. I love creating things with many different media. Papercrafting is my favorite. I helped teachers create bulletin boards and instructional materials for their classrooms. Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time creating cards and I love all of the different techniques and media available. I also am very active in wildlife conservation and spend many hours volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Network.
