Watercolor Flowers with Distress Ink resist

Using watercolor paper, I stamped flowers with VersaMark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  I spritzed with water and using a medium size brush dabbed distress ink to color in the flowers and the background.  I love doing this since each time you do it you get a different look.Distress Ink WatercolorDistress Ink Watercolor #2

Welcome to my blog. I started my blog so that I could share all of the things that I am passionate about not only in the creative world but in all areas of my life.

I retired over 10 years ago from the field of education. I was a Resource Specialist in a Teacher’s Resource Library. My job allowed me to do the things I love every day. I love creating things with many different media. Papercrafting is my favorite. I helped teachers create bulletin boards and instructional materials for their classrooms.

Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time creating cards and I love all of the different techniques and media available. I also am very active in wildlife conservation and spend many hours volunteering with the Wildlife Conservation Network.

  1. I love the effect of the white embossing powder and water coloring. Very pretty card…. And I like that they turn out differently each time!
